Apollo Nida 'to be issued with arrest warrant after failing to report to prison'... instead 'angrily confronting wife Phaedra Parks over money issues'

Apollo Nida was scheduled to begin his eight-year prison sentence on Wednesday after pleading guilty to federal fraud charges.

But according to TMZ, the 35-year-old never reported to authorities at the appointed time at FMC Lexington prison in Kentucky, and now a warrant allegedly will be issued for his arrest.

The website claims Nida instead visited his wife Phaedra Parks at her home and angrily confronted her for reportedly not putting money in his prison account and already refusing to bring their two children to visit him behind bars.

No show: It comes after Nida failed to report to prison on Wednesday, prompting speculation that a warrant would be issued for his arrest. He is pictured here in November

Nida allegedly 'forced his way inside' the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star's home and started shouting, 'What the f*** is the matter with you' and 'I don't give a f**** about the police, call them, I dare you.'

An eyewitness told TMZ that Nida was asking for property and started putting things in a bag in the master bedroom.

Fortuitously, Bravo cameras reportedly were on hand to capture the action for the hit reality show.

Nida was supposed to report to prison by noon, and according to the website, a warrant will soon be issued for his arrest.

The latest incident comes after reports that Nida had angered his wife after he reportedly went on nightclub and drinking binges prior to his scheduled incarceration.

According to TMZ, Parks is claiming Nida 'essentially abandoned' his family the last two months, opting to visit strip clubs and drink rather than spend his last days of freedom with his wife and their two children.

Apparently the situation became 'so tense' the past week that she 'feared physical abuse', but nothing occurred.

The pair allegedly haven't even spoken in a week.

Nida also isn't too pleased with his wife, claims the website, because she didn't attend his court hearings and has chosen to go on her book tour rather than be there for him.

Nida was sentenced in July during a hearing in US District Court in Atlanta.

He pleaded guilty in May to conspiring to commit mail, wire and bank fraud.

Nida also must pay nearly $2 million in restitution.

Prosecutors said Nida and co-conspirators since 2009 had stolen checks and used victims' stolen identities to file fake tax returns and fraudulent claims against the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

A fake auto dealership also was established in which Nida set up loans for non-existent vehicles.

Nida last month revealed during a radio interview that his marriage to Parks was over.

'She didn't even turn up for the f****** sentencing,' he told host Rodney Perry on Atlanta's BE100 Radio.

Nida and Parks have a three-year-old son Ayden and 15-month-old son Dylan together.

The couple married on November 1, 2009, shortly after Nida was released from jail after serving six years for car theft.

Nida could have been sentenced to up to 30 years in prison, but his sentence was reportedly reduced after he cooperated with federal investigators by revealing important evidence in the case.
