Annie Potts is speaking out about the decision to end Young Sheldon.

The 71-year-old actress, who plays Meemaw on the hit CBS series, spoke to Variety about the network’s decision.

“I still don’t understand why they cancelled it,” she said. “It just seemed like such a stupid business move.”

Smash-hit TV show The Equalizer has been renewed for a fifth season by CBS.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement, “The Equalizer, led by the incomparable Queen Latifah, has all the best elements of a powerful drama. Luke Kleintank is leaving the hit CBS series FBI: International after just three seasons.

The 33-year-old actor has been leading the FBI spin-off series ever since the first episode, starring as Supervisory Special Agent Scott Forrester.

CBS is currently airing the third season with the season finale expected to air on May 21, 2024. Luke‘s final episode will be a couple weeks before then.
