Dear Class of ‘87,
Can you believe it? There are only seven months left until the reunion?? Several people have contacted us about helping with the reunion, missing addresses, and ideas. The response has been great.
WE HOPE YOUR CALENDARS ARE MARKED FOR AUGUST 22 and 23, 1997. It sure to be a fun filled weekend for all, with all that is being planned!!
This will be the only mailing you will get before we send out the invitations to the reunion. We will be printing the directory from the current names and addresses, so please make sure your address is correct. The directory will be available at the reunion for $1.00 or through the mail if you do not attend the reunion at $4.00 (shipping and handling included).
The vote was a picnic, so a picnic it is! On Friday night, we will kick off the weekend at Casey’s, and then on Saturday we will be having the picnic. We have formed several committees to help plan the reunion, and a list of the committees is included with this newsletter. If you would like to help with the reunion, please contact the committee person listed. If you do not see the area listed in which you would like to help, please contact either Kim Corpus or Kim Dalheim.
When we sent out the first newsletter, we were unable to locate 69 people. We are now down to just 40 missing out of 318 people. PLEASE HELP if you know where anybody on the list is, their new married name, or the town where they are living, let us know!! We were also given partial information on some people from the missing list, so we left their name on the list if we could not locate them from the information we were given. We can only mail invitations out to whose addresses we have! If you plan on moving between now and the middle of June, you will need to let us know.
We will be having a trivia contest during the reunion and the answers could be in this newsletter, the yearbook or given the day of the reunion! There will be prizes for the most correct answers.
For those of you who are interested in having your wedding or family photos displayed at the reunion please send them back with your invitation, mail them to Sue Goosley Henshaw, or bring them with you to the reunion. Make sure you put your name on the back of the picture! We will also be displaying some pictures from the yearbook.
The idea was made to have someone video tape the reunion, so we will be doing just that. We will then show it at the end of reunion as well as at the next reunion!! So look out we could be anywhere!!

Several people wanted to know who had passed away so we thought we would let you know. We have sadly lost Sandra Wheat, Kim Quakenbush, and you probably remember we lost Rose Bower our junior year (we thought even though Rose passed away our junior year she should still be remembered)!
