Actor Corlandos Scott emerges in the military family drama A COWGIRL'S STORY, starring and produced by Bailee Madison (Good Witch), and releasing this week from Samuel Goldwyn Films.

A COWGIRL'S STORY follows Dusty Rhodes (Madison) as he goes to live with her grandfather (Pat Boone) while her Army parents are on duty in Afghanistan. To hold down the home front, Dusty and her high school friends form an EQUESTRIAN drill team, until her world is turned upside down when her mother goes missing in action. To cope with her fear and helplessness, Dusty pulls together an unforgettable riding performance for her parents and all of the soldiers fighting overseas. Scott joins in the touching story as the local Detective investigating a sticky situation Dusty finds herself caught in.

The film comes from director Timothy Armstrong and was produced by Madison. Scott was excited to join the project, which reunited him with Armstrong once again. Scott adds, "Tim is one the most empowering directors I've ever known, so working on this project was a no brainer for me. Bailee's focus and maturity as a Producer on this project makes me excited to see what she does next."

Originally from Florence, Alabama, Scott has been building a solid reputation since arriving in Hollywood. Most recently, this rising African-American talent appeared as a Union Solider on the acclaimed HBO series Westworld. Previously, he led the fight as 'Detective Loomis' starring in the horror franchise films Hayride and Hayride 2. In addition to acting, Scott is an Attorney-at-Law and brought all of his interests together as producer and star of the legal new series, Everyday Law. Scott graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in Film/Television Production before earning his Law Degree at the University of Michigan Law School.

Up next, Scott heads into pre-production on his second feature as a producer of the comedy-horror film 'Til the Dead Do Us Part.
