Bristow man dies Wednesday in Creek County crash

A Bristow man died Wednesday in a Creek County collision, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Clifford Rosson, 71, was pronounced dead at a Sapulpa hospital from injuries suffered in the collision about 6:22 p.m. on State Highway 66 about 2 miles west of Kellyville at 257 W Avenue, the patrol reported.

A passenger, Patsy Rosson, 71, of Bristow, was taken to a Tulsa hospital and admitted in critical condition, the patrol reported. 

The Rossons did not wear seat belts, the patrol  reported.

The driver of another vehicle in the collision, Shannon Wilson, 36, of Bristow, was taken to a Tulsa Hospital and treated and released for injuries. Wilson wore a seat belt.

The patrol did not report what happened in the collision. The cause is under investigation.
