5th Kohler Spa In World Coming To Lincoln Park

CHICAGO, IL — A popular luxury spa will be a part of the Lincoln Common development on Chicago's North Side. Kohler Waters Spa — Lincoln Common's latest tenant — is slated to open in June of 2019 in Lincoln Park. The spa's award-winning flagship location in Kohler, Wisconsin, is one of only 60 five-star spas worldwide.

The spa brand is known for its water-inspired treatments and luxurious amenities. The Lincoln Park location will include hydromassage pools, saunas, steam rooms, cool plunge pools, a co-ed lounge and an outdoor patio.

The two-story spa — which will include 21 treatment rooms — will be part of a six-story office building at 2358 N. Lincoln Avenue. It will be the second Kohler-branded spa in Chicagoland — joining a location in Burr Ridge. It will be the fifth Kohler Waters Spa in the world.

The $350 million Lincoln Common development, which broke ground in May of 2017 on the former Children's Memorial Hospital complex, will include around 540 apartments in two towers, retail space and an Equinox fitness club.

The Lincoln Common project is being developed by McCaffery Interests and Hines, and designed by architects Antunovich Associates and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
