Hospice of Humboldt will celebrate its 40th anniversary and hold its Heart of Hospice Path dedication Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at its location at 3327 Timber Fall Court in Eureka. Included in the ceremony will be blessings, music, speakers and light refreshments.
Hospice of Humboldt has been serving families locally for four decades, has a staff of over 100 employees and has worked with 119 volunteers. Hospice provided end of life care to hundreds of patients last year. The person-centered care Hospice provides both at home or at the Ida Emmerson Hospice House allows patients comfort and dignity and gives families support at a time when they need it most.
