Procession and memorial services planned for Colton firefighter who drowned in Harriet Lake

A procession and memorial for Justin Fraijo, the

, has been set for April 7.

The procession will begin at 8 a.m. at the Molalla Funeral Chapel, 220 East Main Street, then proceed to Main Street and continue on Highway 211 to Colton. A memorial service will be held later that day at Colton High School at 2 p.m.

As the procession passes the Oregon Department of Forestry, apparatus from several fire departments and law enforcement agencies will join and proceed to the Canyon Creek Bible Fellowship Church, 21302 Oregon 211 in Colton. Participating agencies will include: the Oregon Department of Forestry, Colton, US Forest Service/Bureau of Land Management, Molalla, Marion County #1, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Portland, Canby, Hubbard, Clackamas/Boring, Woodburn, Corbett and Aurora Fire.

Funeral services will also be held, but are reserved for immediate family members and friends.

The procession will continue after the funeral services, traveling up to Elwood Cemetery, where his body will be interred with a full Honor Guard and a bagpiper during the ceremony.

Afterward, the procession will continue to the memorial service at Colton High, which will include a full Honor Guard.
