LEONARD NEAL JR.

ATLANTA, Texas—Leonard Neal Jr., 58, of Douglassville, Texas, died Sunday, July 7, 2019, in Douglassville. Mr. Neal was born Dec. 16, 1960, in Douglassville. He was a machine operator and a member of Free Christian Zion Church, Douglassville. Survivors include two sons, Julius Neal and Marquae Sigler of Dallas; his mother, Estell Neal of Douglassville; three brothers, James Neal of Red Hill, Texas, Johnny Lockhart of Douglassville and Johnny Neal of Texarkana; four sisters, Ida Houston and Mildred Dixon of Red Hill, Mary Dowden of Queen City, Texas, and Stephanie Henderson of Lubbock, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Free Christian Zion Church with Vera Ann Brown officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. The body may be viewed noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
