Fun Facts

The Murray Whalen family just celebrated their one-year anniversary as Lady’s adoptive parents!

On June 15, 2014, they rescued Lady from an Alabama animal shelter through Double Dog Rescue, Inc. She came to them with the name Amelia but they renamed her Lady, which she accepted easily.

Lady is like a proper southern belle – sweet, gentle and well-mannered. She is a shy girl around strangers, but loves to play with other dogs. She is very smart and eager to please.

Lady goes on long walks several times a week, and the family brings her with them everywhere they can.

"She is part of our family, and we love her very much," said owner Lisa Murray.

Talents

Last September, Lady won a whipped cream-eating contest at Pooch-a-Palooza in Topsfield.
