Kate also admitted she hasn't ruled out the possibility of a return to Home and Away.

'Never say never... I think for now Summer Bay seems to be surviving quite well without Sally Fletcher,' she said.

Kate's interview comes after she made a rare public appearance with her husband-of-nine-years Stuart Webb last Friday.

The family attended the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical premiere in Sydney with their four-year-old daughter Mae.

While the couple have long been the subject of split rumours, they appeared thoroughly loved-up while posing on the red carpet.
