Did you miss Lake Street Dive in Syracuse? See them at the State Theatre in Ithaca

Last month in Syracuse, Lake Street Dive put on one of the best shows of the year at the Westcott Theater. A full house crammed in to see the surging Boston four-piece rock through a sweaty set of eclectic jazz-rock.

Those who missed it (and those who didn't) will have another chance to check the band out in Upstate New York. Lake Street Dive comes to the State Theatre in Ithaca on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Tickets are $24.50 and go on sale Friday, Aug. 1 via the State Theatre's website.

Lake Street Dive is an indie rock group with jazzy flair and barroom style. They've been making a case to be the break-out band of 2014 with critical acclaim, wildly energetic live performances and attention from television hosts like Stephen Colbert and David Letterman.

They breezed through the Westcott Theater on June 26 -- a show that left the room teeming with energy (and sweat). Last weekend, they blew away crowds at the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg.

With about 1,600 seats, the State Theatre is twice the size of the Westcott, which the band filled last month.

The upcoming Ithaca show is part of a nationwide tour that includes dates at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and the Austin City Limits music festival in Texas.
