Vermont State Police are investigating after a dog was shot and run over in Grafton, Vermont.Felicia Rowe reported Friday morning that her 13-month old German shepherd-Rottweiler mix dog was shot and run over at the bottom of their driveway on Eastman Road.Police said it happened Thursday afternoon.Rowe told police that her dog, Jane, is primarily black in color so there was "no reason for someone to have mistaken her for a deer."Rowe rushed her to the Springfield Animal Hospital where they confirmed she had been shot and hit by a vehicle.
