Man Shot, Killed Near Fort Worth Men's Club: Police

A 34-year-old man was shot to death outside a Fort Worth adult entertainment club early Sunday morning, police say.

The shooting happened near a club in the 11000 block of South Pipeline Road at about 3:30 a.m., however the club told NBC 5 the incident took place long after they'd closed and didn't take place on their property.

A preliminary police report indicated that two shots were fired and a man was found on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police said at least one shell casing was recovered at the scene.

Fort Worth police spokeswoman Tamara Valle said the victim, later identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner as Nicolas Jackson, died at the hospital.

There was not an immediate arrest in the shooting.
