Hall County Sheriff's deputies arrested an 11-year-old boy Friday morning after officials found 2 weapons in his book bag.

HALL COUNTY, GA — The 11-year-old boy who brought a small caliber handgun to East Hall Middle School Friday morning has been charged with two counts of possession of a weapon on school property.

One count pertains to a loaded handgun found in the student’s book bag. The second count is the result of a folding pocket knife that Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Investigators also located in the bag.
