Charlotte Crosby only found out Stephen Bear had dumped her when she read it on Twitter, a source has claimed.
Being dumped is never nice, but there are ways of making it not quite so brutal. Sadly, Stephen Bear apparently chose not to take this route, as his tweet announcing to the world that he is now single was seemingly also announcing it to his girlfriend.
He wrote: ‘Sadly me and Charlotte have split up. We have had a good run but we wasn’t right for each other X’.
A source told The Sun this was news to a devastated Charlotte, who was left in ‘pieces’ by the public revelation: ‘Charlotte literally had no idea Stephen thought their relationship was in a bad way.
‘They kissed and said goodbye when he flew to Las Vegas and he had been a great support to her over these past few days with everything to do with Gaz…
‘She logged onto Twitter and saw his message, she’s in pieces and can’t believe her fairytale ending has been shattered.’
She had reportedly been giving interviews that day in which she spoke of how much she loved him.
However, it seems like the split was on the cards as Charlotte had recently tweeted herself that their relationship was over, before the pair appeared to patch things up.
On August 1, in a since deleted tweet she wrote:
Guttered that me and Stephen had to separate but I tried my hardest and it obvs wasn’t good enough ?

She also uploaded a Snapchat video in which she cried and said she ‘can’t carry on trying to fight for a relationship where the other person isn’t fighting as hard.’
Charlotte added: ‘Maybe my reasons aren’t as validated as his things but I don’t know why i’d get so upset about someone who doesn’t care.
‘I know you think you know my life but you don’t know the half of it because there’s a lot of things that a lot of people just don’t know.
‘I love Stephen so much but when someone is so selfish to always put themselves in front and not even care about the little things that you ask them to do just makes you question if they care at all.’
‘He’s been the best boyfriend to us and he’s been faithful and he gets us anything I want.’
She later retracted it, saying it was because she’d been drinking.
