Jake Cuenca enjoys working with Coco Martin again
21 Dec – Actor Jake Cuenca was full of praises for Coco Martin, who directed their latest film, "Ang Panday".
As reported on PEP, the actor, who spoke about their latest collaboration at the special screening of the said movie recently stated, "He is a great director. As I said, I hope to work with him again. I am happy that I did his first movie."
"I've worked with him a lot of times before. We did soaps together and my first big break was with him. He was my villain, and then I became his villain, so on and so forth. I am honoured to do the movie with him, and I hope we will have another collaboration again in the future," he said.
When asked what he honestly thinks of Martin as a director, Cuenca said that the actor seemed to be clear about what he wants in his directorial debut.
He also admitted that Martin's professionalism also became a good example for the rest of the cast and crew.
"You film the movie until 4am. But the lead actor/director didn't complain. How can you? He works hard," Cuenca added.
