Georgia paid Ludacris $65,000 and fulfilled ridiculously amazing rider for spring game show

Ludacris put on a 15-minute concert for Georgia football fans who were at the first spring game on Saturday for a fee of $65,000. In addition to the cost, Ludacris also requested a BUNCH of different/crazy/amazing items on his rider. We know this because Macon.com obtained the contract and shared it.

The funniest part is that Ludacris has requested a similar list of items before when he performed an hour-long concert at Georgia for $68,000 in 2010, according to a report by The Red & Black. It read as follows:

  • Box of Fruit Rollups
  • 3 XXL White T-Shirts
  • 1 Bottle Dove body wash
  • 1 Hair Brush
  • 1 Small Secret Deodorant
  • Jiffy Peanut Butter (Creamy Only)
  • 1 Box of Trojan Magnum Condoms

However, back then, Ludacris didn’t receive anything from his list because the university eliminated it from the contract, per the report. This time around, he got what he wanted — and then some. These sorts of requests are standard for rockstars like Ludacris, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome.

Here are several of the additional fantastically specific items that were on the list for Saturday’s show.

  • 1 loaf of Bread (whole grain with the most amount of grains)

Note: Just because it has lots of grains in the name, doesn’t mean it’s healthy, according to the all-knowing WebMD.

  • 1 Crest Spin rechargeable Toothbrush
  • 5 Wash Cloths (Wamsutta/Bed Bath & Beyond)
  • 5 Drying Towels (Wamsutta)

If you’ve never been to the Wamsutta website, turn your volume all the way up and click here. The music is actually very soothing.

  • 2 Bottles of Belvedere Vodka
  • 2 Bottles of Conjure Cognac
  • 2 Bottles of Patron Silver
  • 1 Bottle of Red Wine (Francis Coppola Merlot or Cabernet)
  • 1 Bottle of White Wine (Santa Margharita Pinot Grigio or Savignon Blanc)

That’s all the alcohol on the list, unless I missed something. It’s an extensive list. The Band Dressing Room requests were crossed out, though, so technically he didn’t get everything he wanted.

Oh, and here are clips from the concert.
