Michael Vyain, 64

FORT WAYNE - Michael Vyain, 64, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Summit City Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.

Born in Muncie, Michael worked as a letter carrier with the U.S. Post Office for forty years, retiring in 2011.

He was an avid musician who enjoyed wood working, gardening, fishing and photography.

Surviving are his son, Sean (Amy) Vyain of Lebanon, IN; daughter, Alison Vyain of Fort Wayne; son, Christopher Vyain of Portland, OR; daughter, Kara (Loren Tullis) Vyain of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Hannah and Reeder; sister, Jane (Kelly) Cronk of New Castle, sister, Carol (Bruce) Donati of Muncie; brother, David Vyain of NE; sister, Linda Vyain of Noblesville; former spouses, Cheryl Rider and Linda Vyain, both of Fort Wayne.

Michael was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Ruth (Grandlinard) Vyain.

Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Larry Merino officiating.

Calling is 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
