Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s Flower Girl Was the Daughter of This Celebrity Couple

There were numerous celebrity faces involved in Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s nuptials–in-laws Sophie Turner and best man Joe Jonas, of course, were some of the better known names–but what most people didn’t know was that one of their flower girls has also enjoyed her fair share of time in the spotlight.

Chopra and Jonas tapped Harper Grace Hammer, the 4-year-old daughter of their close couple friends Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers, to serve in the wedding party of their December 1 ceremony.

“I couldn’t go, because [I] was in Europe doing a press tour,” Hammer told Savannah Guthrie on the Today show Thursday. “But my wife, Elizabeth, and our daughter Harper went… She was one of the flower girls in the wedding.”

In fact, Hammer and his wife have played a rather significant role in Jonas and Chopra’s romance, much like Ralph Lauren, who designed the bride’s wedding dress for her Christian ceremony.

“We were there for Priyanka and Nick’s first date,” Hammer revealed. “We were sitting there and we kinda watched the two of them talking and were like, ‘Hey, you see what’s going on over there?’ And now they’re married, so…”

Chopra and Jonas married in two wedding ceremonies, fusing traditions from their heritages, religions and backgrounds. The two were rather busy after the special occasion, hosting a reception followed by more wedding appearances for Chopra’s close friend and heiress Isha Ambani.

In an interview published Thursday, Jonas also spoke out about his future plans to potentially have kids with his wife. “I definitely want to be a father someday,” Jonas told Spotify this week. “I think that’s a real dream, and I think I have had to grow up pretty quick. With that, you could look at it two ways, you could say that was unfair, or you could say it has given me some real perspective at an early age.”
