There’s a myriad of events happening all across NYC this weekend—here’s how it’ll affect traffic

Max Touhey

The countdown to the weekend is on and if you’re one of those folks that are lucky enough to have a three-day weekend to look forward to as a result of Columbus Day on Monday, congratulations. There will be a lot happening in New York over the next few days, with everything from parades to fall festivals, and more. You might be looking to join in on the festivities happening this weekend, or your interest might be in avoiding it altogether. Either way, it’ll be good to know what’s happening where and how it might impact everything else so you can plan accordingly. Whatever it is, we’ve got you covered.

Among the myriad of events slated to take place over the weekend includes NYC’s very own Oktoberfest, a Nigerian Independence Day Parade and Festival; several DOT “Weekend Walks,” the Korean Parade, and the Panamanian Independence Day Parade and Festival.
