A Bowlus man died early Wednesday morning following a crash in Elmdale Township, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported.
The sheriff's office received a report at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday of a one-vehicle crash on 55th Avenue, northeast of Upsala in Elmdale Township.
According to the sheriff's office, Cody Babineau, 21, Bowlus, was driving a Ford truck northbound on 55th Avenue when the truck went into the ditch on the east side of the road. The truck rolled and Babineau, the lone occupant, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol. The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol,
Upsala First Response Team and Gold Cross Ambulance.
