Jerry Ferrara has insisted that the Entourage cast were not to blame for holding up the long-awaited movie.

Entourage creator Doug Ellin announced in October that a movie had been greenlit, just days after reports of a conflict about cast salaries had emerged.

Ferrara recently told Access Hollywood Live that allegations of discord between the cast and producers was largely overblown by the media.

"[There was] no hold out situation. No, nobody held out," he insisted.

The actor - who plays Turtle - previously hinted that the Entourage movie will be a "throwback" to the show's early seasons, and has now offered further details.

"[It'll be] the guys with the guys," Ferrara said, adding: "[It will start] not far from where it left off, from what I know."

Entourage originally aired for eight seasons between 2004 and 2011 on HBO, and earned 25 Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
