Almost eight years ago, on Oct. 21, 2010, Lake in the Hills Patch launched. A couple weeks later, on Nov. 5, Algonquin Patch launched. Eventually, the two sites would merge into one to become Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch. We've come a long way over the years, and you're a big reason why.

In August, Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch recorded 81,223 visitors. For two villages with a combined population of just under 60,000 that's a lot of readers! Our visitors hail from Algonquin and Lake in the Hills, for sure, but many residents of neighboring towns also land on site from time to time, too.
