On Sept. 2, officers were dispatched to a residence on Beecher Street for a domestic
dispute involving Werner and a woman, according to a report. Things began to escalate and Werner is accused of placing one hand around her throat until she could no longer breathe while placing his other hand over her face, according to a report.

At this point a third party entered the room and Werner fled the scene, according to a report. He was later involved in a car crash on Interstate-84 in the Plainville area and was taken to an area hospital, a report indicates.
