Paulina Porizkova has shared a candid, makeup-free photo of herself first thing in the morning to show her fans what she really looks like after they were quick to compliment her sexy bikini pictures.

The 55-year-old model noted that she hasn't had any cosmetic procedures when she took to Instagram on Thursday to post the snapshot, which shows her lying down with her blonde hair in messy curls.

'For all of you lovely complimentary peeps, this is what I actually look like,' she wrote. 'I think not bad for 55 and no interventions. But most certainly not 22.'

Keeping it real: The model, pictured in Nicaragua, had a message for her online critics, saying her Instagram page is her 'house,' and if people don't like it, they should 'leave'

Still go it: The candid snapshot comes after the model posted numerous photos of herself sporting string bikinis while on vacation

'This is the first-thing-in-the morning me, no coffee and hair all accidentally waved from sleeping with it in a bun,' she added: 'Looking at my selfies now, I always wonder what’s up with my nose? It keeps getting in the way!'

Paulina received plenty of praise from friends and fans who all agreed that she looks absolutely stunning in the early-morning selfie.

'So beautiful,' wrote Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, while Alyssa Milano called her 'the most beautiful woman in the world.'

Andie MacDowell shared that she doesn't use filters either, writing: 'I don't understand what the point is! We need to celebrate how we look exactly right where we are and to me you look perfect.'

Paulina's post came a day after she shared a snapshot of herself cleaning the porch at her home in upstate New York where she has been quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the photo, she is wearing a sunny yellow cotton dress and smiling for the camera while holding a broom.

'Yellow but not mellow! I present myself in a cotton dress with a saggy gathered waist. It used to fit 15years ago when I had it copied from yes, another Gap dress,' she wrote.

'The yellow also used to look great with my brown hair. Now, it seems to only accentuate the inadvertent multicolor. Also, note the very visible beige bra-straps- another of my pet peeves.'

Last week, the mother of two celebrated her youngest son Oliver's 22nd birthday. She paid tribute to her child online, sharing a photo of him wearing a white blazer and a tie.

'Happy birthday to my little guy. Little? At 6’5? Yeah, he’ll always be my little boy,' she wrote. 'Today 22 years ago, this young man was born, and I was introduced to an old soul. There are few humans I enjoy to spend more time with than my Oliver. I think when your kids grow up to be your favorite people, you are a lucky mom indeed.'

Paulina has been sharing snapshots of herself sporting messy hair and comfy clothes while completing household chores — along with sultry pictures of herself sporting tiny bikinis while on vacation in Costa Rica before the pandemic hit.

Her most recent throwback photo from the trip shows her lounging near a waterfall in a black string bikini.

'TBT. Back in the amazing Costa Rica, by the waterfall we ATV’d to. So incredibly beautiful,' she wrote in the caption.

'Lounging on sharp rocks is a special skill of mine, along with not touching my face, minimizing sweating in the face, making ugly clothes look ok and fending off horny men, all learned courtesy of my former career.

'Funnily enough, this does not seem to make me employable at 55, now when I really need to work.'

Paulina's career took off in 1984 when she became the first woman from Central Europe to land the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

During the height of her success, she modeled for a number of big-name brands, including Chanel, Versace, Revlon, and Calvin Klein.

She also became the second woman to appear on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover for two years in a row — an honor that had only previously been achieved by Christie Brinkley.

The model has spent less time in the spotlight in recent years, though she did see a major career resurgence when she returned to the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in both 2018 and 2019.

Over the past five years, Paulina has had to mourn both the end of her marriage and the death of her estranged husband Ric Ocasek.

She met The Cars frontman while the band was filming the music video for Drive in 1984 and became his third wife in 1989. They had two sons together, Jonathan, 26, and Oliver, 22.

She announced in May 2018 that they had split quietly the previous year after 28 years of marriage.

Though they were divorcing, they continued to share a New York townhouse and that is where Paulina found the famed rock star dead.

A medical examiner determined that the musician died on September 15 at the age of 75 from hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with pulmonary emphysema being a contributing factor.

Since his passing, Paulina has been incredibly open about her struggle to process her emotions about his death.

Earlier this month, she took a break from posting candid quarantine snaps and glamorous bikini photos to share an emotional video of herself in tears.

'I am a person who doesn’t cry,' she wrote in the caption. 'I understood early on as a child that my tears were pointless, and only made me seem weak. I trained myself to cry only in private. In movies where I had to cry, I felt more naked and vulnerable than actually being naked.'

Paulina went on to confess that over the last five years, she has 'cried more than in all her fifty years combined.'

'I had to show my tears — I could no longer hold them all to myself,' she said. 'I had to admit defeat. It was not cleansing, it did not help. But it was unavoidable.'

Since that realization, Paulina has given up trying to conceal her sadness, explaining that she has grown more comfortable with expressing and showing her vulnerability to the world in a way that she was never able to before.

'Now I cry often,' she said. 'I have things to cry about — don’t we all? It still doesn’t help; if anything it gives me a headache. But I try not to be so scared of showing my vulnerability.'

In the video, which just shows Paulina's face, the model is seen staring at the camera and silently sobbing, but she does not explain the cause of her tears.

The mother of two shared the clip just four days after the eight-month anniversary of her estranged husband's death, though she did not mention Ric in the caption.
