Mama mia! Jennifer Lopez seals her status as MILF in clingy macrame mini-dress on the set of American Idol

Jennifer Lopez just nabbed a new comedy to star in called Mothers I'd Like To..., a fitting role considering her appearance on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old mother-of-two certainly sizzled as she strolled to work on American Idol in Los Angeles.

The frock featured some modest touches too as seen in the high neckline and the long sleeves.

J-Lo added shining stilettos with delicate ankle straps, while her waist-length hair tumbled down her back and over her shoulders in blonde-streaked, brown waves.

Her face was bronzed and made-up to stand out on camera with heavy shadow, dark eye liner, flattering foundation and swipes of blush to both cheeks, along with a pale and shimmery lip gloss.

J-Lo's previous flick, The Boy Next Door, was a success thanks to moviegoers and took in $48 million at the box office worldwide.

That movie cast Jennifer as a newly divorced mom whose affair with her neighbour, a much younger man, turns dangerously obsessive.

In real life, J-Lo is mom to seven-year-old twins Max and Emme from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony.

She's also reignited her romance with her own much younger man, 28-year-old Casper Smart.
