SCOTIA — A Taste of Change: Handwritten Cookbooks and the Stories They Tell Us will be presented at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 N. Ballston Ave.

Culinary historian Peter G. Rose, using recipe books and scrapbooks of Dutch New York as examples, will discuss what these family documents can tell us about our family and community history, followed by a sampling of Dutch cookies and desserts.

Sponsored by Humanities New York, the village of Scotia and the First Reformed Church of Scotia.
