Hikaru Utada Shares Wedding Photos After Marrying Italian Fiance Over The Weekend, Congratulations And Best Wishes Hikki And Francesco!

After Hikaru Utada's wedding to her fiancé last May 23, the J-Pop superstar couldn't help but to feel happy knowing that she finally became Mrs. Hikaru Calliano. As promised by the Japanese singer, Hikaru Utada's wedding photos are shared through her website not just to her fans but to everyone who wishes to see them.

Hikaru Utada's wedding gallery could not be considered a giant photobomb, but the four photos uploaded to her website simply stated how happy the singer is. The first photo had shown her and new husband Francesco together while she wears a colorful kimono. Even dad Teruzane Utada walked her in the aisle on her wedding day!

Hikaru and Francesco got married in a church ceremony at Polignano a Mare in Southern Italy, followed by a reception in Francesco's hometown in Fasano. Nicknamed by her fans as Hikki, she wore a simple white dress with laced sleeves. Various Japanese media and press stated that Hikaru was surrounded by at least seven bodyguards who held paper umbrellas to protect her from paparazzi. The wedding guests are also prohibited from taking photos.

This is already Hikaru Utada's second marriage. Her first husband was film director Kazuaki Kiriya who directed most of her music videos. They got married in 2002 but divorced in 2007. Currently, the singer is in hiatus from her music activities. Prior to uploading her wedding photos, Hikki posted a simple message to her website, saying: "Hey, I got married! Thank you, to everyone."
