The celeb pages are buzzing over Monday night’s photos of Renee Zellweger — or at least that’s who she claims to be. The woman at a Beverly Hills party bears scant resemblance to the star of the squinchy eyes and lopsided grin, and could perhaps be mistaken for a rounder-faced Robin Wright.
Zellweger, 45, attended the Elle magazine Women of Hollywood event with bushy-haired beau Doyle Bramhall II, 45, a guitarist and the namesake son of the late Texas blues drummer.
Ten years past “Chicago” and the “Bridget Jones” movies, Zellweger has not appeared on a movie screen since 2010. It’s not the first time her appearance has ignited excitement: Criticized as too skinny after she was cast as Bridget Jones, she packed on 20 pounds for the role.
