Jaclyn Smith Heads To Yonkers For Sears Meet-And-Greet Event
The "Charlie's Angels" star is celebrating the launch of her latest ready-to-wear collection with the retailer.
For nearly four decades, Jaclyn Smith has captivated the public eye with her legendary career, grace, and style. Best known for the hit 1970s detective series, “Charlie’s Angels,” the actress has also become a formidable business woman, having launched her collection of women’s apparel and accessories for Kmart stores more than 30 years ago.
“I was one of the first celebrities to pioneer the concept of stars developing their own brands, and I became a celebrity brand partner when I started my relationship with Kmart in 1985,” Smith told Patch. "Since then, an estimated 100 million women and counting have purchased clothing and accessories from my line.”
And her ever-growing business empire is expanding with the launch of Jaclyn Smith Ready to Wear collection for Sears stores.

“It consists of classic, sophisticated clothing, with quality fabrics, and ease of fit," says the iconic star. “The designs are classically feminine at an affordable price, making it accessible to all women, as I not only want to make women look amazing, but feel just as good.”
Smith, now 72, also shared one of her “greatest joys in life.” She is a grandmother to her first grandchild, Bea, born in September of 2016. “Being a grandmother makes my heart feel so full,” expressed Smith. “There is no feeling to explain the joy I feel when I’m with my granddaughter. I don’t care if I’m called 'Granny,' 'Grandmother,' or 'Grandma,' although my kids used to call my mother 'Mimi' so I’d probably prefer that. I’m blessed to have such an incredible family.”
