Ryan Phillippe posts rare photo with the two children he had with Reese Witherspoon... and his son Deacon, 14, looks just like him
Actor Ryan Phillippe is celebrating his 44th birthday Monday and he shared a sweet snapshot with his children to celebrate.
The birthday boy took to Instagram to post a black and white photo with his children from the actor's previous marriage to Reese Witherspoon, and it was impossible not to notice how similarly he looks to his son.
In the picture the Cruel Intentions star has his arms around his 19-year-old daughter Ava and his 14-year-old son Deacon who look like younger versions of their parents.

The trio was dressed casually in T-shirts as they tilted their heads toward each other.
The Shooter star captioned the photo: 'Me n mine.'
Fans were quick to comment on how similar Deacon looks to Ryan and likewise with Ava and Reese.

Young Deacon was the spitting image of his 40-something father in the shot, but with decidedly less facial hair.
The boys have twin expressions on their similar looking faces and are even both sporting a pair of matching eyeglasses.
While Deacon is a young version of his father, Ava is their mother Reese Witherspoon's look-a-like.
On Sunday the 42-year-old Legally Blonde star posted a happy birthday shot of Ava, whose birthday is the day before her dads, on social media.

Ryan and Reese were the young 'it couple' of the late nineties after the pair hit it off at Reese's 21st birthday party.
The couple went on to co-star in the sexy teen drama Cruel Intentions which premiered in 1999 and got married that same year.
They split in 2006 and finalized their divorce nearly two years later.
Both Ryan and Reese each have a third child from a subsequent relationship.
