Upper St. Clair To Hold Opioid Addiction Program

The township's youth steering committee is presenting the event.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair will host an opioid addiction program Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park.

Gary Seech, regional director of operations at Glenbeigh, will be the speaker. Located in northeast Ohio, Glenbeigh is a non-profit rehabilitation hospital, with six outpatient centers, that provide care to adults in need of alcohol and drug addiction treatment as well as support for ongoing addiction recovery efforts.

The Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair is jointly appointed by the township commissioners and school district directors. The panel consists of adult residents, student representatives and liaisons from the appointing boards. The committee’s mission is to involve the Upper St. Clair community in providing positive direction and support to the community’s youth and their families.
