It not too soon to start making summer plans: For anyone looking for a good weekend trip this June 16–18, the 13th annual Mountain Jam Music Festival is returning to Hunter Mountain with a lineup of rock and blues talent. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Steve Miller Band top the bill at Mountain Jam 2017 with Peter Frampton, Gary Clark Jr., Michael Franti & Spearhead, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Strumbellas, Shovels & Rope, The Revivalists, The Infamous Stringdusters, White Denim, Elephant Revival, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and River Whyless filling out the lineup so far. The whole thing is a little more than a two hour drive outside of NYC and tickets are aleady on sale.
