SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said a man died in an accident at West Bellfort Boulevard and Belknap Road on Saturday.
The wreck happened at about 8:30 p.m., according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.

According to investigators, the man was driving a Camaro westbound on West Bellfort and left the road for unknown reasons, struck the curb on the right and slammed into a wood telephone pole.
The victim died at scene and several witnesses said he was not speeding.
Deputies said they do not believe the man was under the influence of alcohol.
Authorities said the accident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
