Gordon C. Hall

Gordon C. Hall, 81, of Grafton, ND passed away October 11, 2018 with his wife Inez by his side.

He was born August 7, 1937 in Dahlen, ND; the first of seven to the parents of Charles and Stella (Benson) Hall. He married Jerry Jane Hall on July 18, 1959 in Park River, ND and Inez Stark on October 13, 2007 in Lankin, ND.

His career as a finished carpenter began with Yuhas in Helena, MT, which led to his entrepreneurial spirit with Hall Construction building homes throughout Walsh County and lastly, leaving his mark on the skyline of Seattle.

He was a member of the Washington Local 456 Carpenters Union and the Union Rep for Hispanic carpenters. He held the position of GSO Representative of Snohomish County AA and Commander of the American Legion Post #157 of Lankin, ND. He loved people and if you were his friend you were family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerry Jane Hall and his first-born son, Jeremiah E Hall, brother Conrad Hall and sister Janet Midgarden.

Loved and survived by his wife of 11 years, Inez Hall; daughter Dawn Baldwin of Kirkland, WA; daughter Michelle (Mark) Horton of Marysville, WA; daughter Maria Lant of Woodinville, WA; daughter Brenda (Jeff) Baker of Chino Valley, AZ.; with sons Stephan, Randy and David Stark of Grafton, ND and daughter Mary Stark of Minot, ND. Grandchildren: Gordon Hall II, Justin Lant, Chase Baldwin, Jaclyn Lant, Nicole Halsey, Aaron Horton, Stephanie Horton, Ronnie Marie Baker, Garrett Baker, Trevor Horton, Cassandra Stark, Samuel Stark, Donald Stewart, Lydia Stark and Carther Stark. Great grandchildren: Tyler Hall, AJ Halsey, Kennedy Hall and Presley Waller. Siblings: Curt Hall, Tom Hall, Denny Hall, Larry Hall.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, October 17th at 10:00 AM at the Grafton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be provided by the Lankin American Legion Post #157 and the US Air Force Honor Guard. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery of Park River, ND.
