Paving project to get underway on Route 57 in Liverpool

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Department of Transportation will begin paving the road on Route 57 in Liverpool between Longbranch Road and Blackberry Road.

Construction work will begin Monday, Aug. 20, if the weather allows.

Traffic lanes will be reduced for the project.

The Department of Transportation officials remind drivers to slow down when driving by work zones, use caution, and be mindful of workers.

The paving project is expected to be done by the fall.
