Burger 21 Opening in July near Mall of Georgia in Buford

Burger 21® is opening a franchise location at the end of July at 3385 Woodward Crossing Blvd. near the Mall of Georgia.

“We look forward to bringing Burger 21’s premium ingredients, innovative recipes and gourmet experience without the gourmet price at our first franchised location in Georgia," said Mark Johnston, Burger 21 president and chief concept officer, in a news release announcing the opening. Johnston is also president of Front Burner Brands, restaurant management company for Burger 21.

Locally owned and operated by Corley Steward, Burger 21 features 21 chef-inspired burger creations, hand-dipped signature shakes, gourmet hot dogs, hand-breaded chicken tenders, and made-to-order salads served quickly in a contemporary-style diner atmosphere. Burger choices include Certified Angus Beef®, chicken, turkey, vegetarian, shrimp and tuna.

“My team and I are excited to bring Burger 21’s ‘beyond the better burger’ experience to the Buford area,” said Steward. “With consumer demand for fast-casual experiences on the rise, we are confident that Burger 21 and its extensive menu will fit perfectly in the community.”

With seven locations open in Tampa Bay, Fla., Orlando, Fla., and Voorhees, N.J., and 18 in development in seven states, Burger 21 was founded in 2010 by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc.
