Crofton Man Charged In 7-Eleven Store Robbery

A Crofton man has been charged with robbing a Gambrills 7-Eleven store in January, Anne Arundel County Police said Wednesday.

GAMBRILLS, MD — A Crofton man has been charged with robbing a Gambrills 7-Eleven store in January, Anne Arundel County Police said Wednesday. About 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 11 employees at the 7-Eleven store at 1044 Route 3 in Gambrills reported a man entered the business armed with a knife and demanded money.

The clerk complied and the robber fled from the area toward the northbound side of Route 3. Officers searched the area with help from the police K9 unit but they were unable to locate the robber.

Investigators developed a suspect in the robbery, identified Wednesday as Nicholas Edward Bukoski, 19, of the 2500 block of Ayr Court in Crofton. A search warrant was executed at Bukoski’s residence and he was taken into custody. He has been charged with armed robbery and related offenses.

Bukoski is currently being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center, police said.
