Stan Kirsch dead – Friends and Highlander star dies aged 51 from suspected suicide
STAN Kirsch, who starred in Friends and TV series Highlander, has been found dead aged 51 in a suspected suicide.
The actor, who is better known for playing Ethan in Friends, was pronounced dead at his Los Angeles home on Saturday afternoon.
Police confirmed Stan Kirsch's wife, Kristyn Green, found her husband in their bathroom.
Despite paramedics rushing to the scene, the Friends star was pronounced dead.
A tribute to Stan was posted to the Highlander's official Facebook page.
It read: "Without Stan Kirsch, Highlander: The Series would have been far less. He brought a sense of humor, kindness and youthful enthusiasm to the character of Richie Ryan for six seasons."
Meanwhile, his wife says she feels "surrounded by love" following his tragic death.
She wrote: "I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support. I haven't been able to respond to all the texts, calls, emails -- but have read or listened to every single one of them.
"I feel surrounded by love and am forever grateful to each and every one of you."
The star, who has went on to become an acting coach, has also appeared in JAG, General Hospital and Friends.
