Man Jumps From Parking Garage and Dies

The 34-year-old jumped to his death downtown Monday afternoon.

CHICAGO, IL - A 34-year-old man jumped from a parking garage in downtown Chicago on Monday and died.

Emergency crews responded to the garage on Lake Street between Clark and La Salle streets around 1:30 p.m., according to the Chicago Tribune.

The incident took place in the 100 block of N. Wells. Traffic has been closed in the area ever since.

A white sheet could be seen covering the man's body on Wells, the Chicagoist reported.
