Job fair for veterans, spouses slated at Camp Pendleton

A job fair for veterans and their spouses is slated for Tuesday at Camp Pendleton’s Pacific Views Event Center.

The event is hosted by RecruitMilitary, a military-focused recruiting company based in Loveland, Ohio, that provides services free of charge to veterans and their spouses to help them find jobs.

Nearly 50 companies are set to send representatives to the expo to speak with job seekers. Recruiters include Chicago-based Combined Insurance, a Chubb Limited company. The company plans to recruit 2,000 more veterans by the end of 2019 and intends to hire about 50 new agents by the end of this year throughout California, according to spokeswoman Caitlin Morse.

The career fair features a seminar, “Move in the Right Direction: Putting Your Career Goals into Action,” presented by DeVry University. Register separately for the seminar at rmvets.com/pendleton_oct_devry.

The job fair is from from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pacific Views Events Center, 202850 San Jacinto Road on Camp Pendleton.
