Aldi is launching a gourmet food range with copycat versions of San Pellegrino and Buffalo Mozzarella in a bid to woo customers from Waitrose.
The German retailer hopes their collection of Italian goods will compete with Waitrose's similar items.
Aldi's new products include a knock-off version of sparkling water favourite San Pellegrino which will retail at 79p and aged balsamic vinegar for £4.99 a bottle.

But as eagle-eyed consumers have pointed out - Aldi's own brand of balsamic vinegar is the same price as Waitrose's, but half the size.
The retailer still comes up trumps with their bargain buffalo mozzarella, however, which will be priced at 99p compared to Tesco's version at £2.20 a packet.

Waitrose does have the edge over its German competitors with one vital dish.
The upmarket British chain's own-branded dessert of Tiramisu is £1.50, marginally more expensive than Aldi's £1.29 version but 100g bigger.
Supermarkets have been locked in a war this summer in a bid to pinch the middle class market with eye-catching deals.
Lidl caused a furore on social media when it announced it would be selling six bottle cases of their Allini Prosecco for £20, at £3.33 per bottle.
The deal will run for August Bank Holiday weekend.
