What could be more romantic than snuggling up with a movie on a rainy day?
On Wednesday Jesse Spencer and girlfriend Maya Gabeira did just that, heading off to the theatre at the first sign of drizzle as they shopped along Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade.

The 34-year-old Chicago Fire star was spotted looking cosy with his long time love, keeping her warm as they held hands and snuggled while waiting in line to buy tickets for their film of choice.
The couple both dressed casual on their date night, both dressed in jeans and trainers.
Australian born Jesse, who rose to fame as the hunky Dr Robert Chase on the FOX medical drama House, professed his love of surfing in a navy blue jumper emblazoned with the Surfrider's Foundation logo.
After the film the duo opted for a stroll along the rain soaked streets before heading back to their home in nearby Venice, California.

The couple have been dating since 2010 -- three years after Jesse split with former fiance and House co-star Jennifer Morrison.
The two have more than just their good looks in common, both being avid surfers.
Twenty-six-year-old Maya is a professional big wave surfer who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, landing on the scene after riding a record-breaking 14-metre (45 feet) wave in Cape Town, South Africa.

She started her career in sports at the tender age of 14, moving to Australia and Hawaii years later for better surf.
And Melbourne native Jesse has taken to the waves as well, being a big supporter of the Surfrider Foundation.

Jessie credits their strong relationship to the fact that their jobs are so strikingly different from one another.
'All of my girlfriends have been actors, and I’ve realized that maybe it’s not for me—and find something else outside of the industry,' he told TimeOut Chicago last October.
'And Maya, she’s still in an industry that’s sort of similar, that I can relate to it; she’s in the public eye a bit.'
