Despite defeating Lake Minneola 42-14 on Friday, Edgewater only moved up one spot to No. 7 in this week’s Florida high school football AP Poll.

In all, the Eagles have scored 309 points while only allowing 107 points through seven games. Five of the six schools ahead of Edgewater in the 7A rankings have one loss.

In 8A, Osceola moved up one spot to No. 8 with a 53-7 victory over Gateway. The Kowboys host Haines City Friday.

Foundation Academy fell out of the Top 5 in the 2A rankings after its second consecutive loss. The Lions will host West Oaks Academy on Oct. 26.
