Sports Illustrated model Hunter McGrady flaunts her fabulous figure in a bondage inspired dress at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Hunter McGrady let it all hang out when she attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA on Sunday.

Dressed in a bondage inspired barely-there black dress, the stunning model owned her look, smiling confidently at the cameras as she posed on the red carpet.

Her long blonde hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, with a smokey eye accentuating her vixen look.

Suspenders could be seen under the sheer skirt of her dress, and she accessorized her outfit with a black leather jacket and strappy black heels.

But the Sports Illustrated star admits she hasn't always been so comfortable with her body, revealing she used to starve herself as a teenage model.

'I walked into one of my very first modeling jobs at a size 4. They looked at me and said, "We didn’t realize you were this big," and they sent me home,' she told People in February. 'And I was so upset, and so livid, that I was getting picked at, already, at just a young 16 years old.'

While initially outraged, the 23-year-old admits she caved into pressure to look a certain way.

'My hips were always the bigger part of my body, and I was already so thin that I couldn’t keep shaving them down. I physically could not. And everyone was telling me that I could,' she said. 'At that time, I thought my dreams of becoming a model were crushed.'

Eventually, the blonde bombshell learnt to embrace her body - curves and all.

'I love my body now. I love everything about it,' she added. 'I’ve been an 18, I’ve been a 10/12, and I’ve been everything in between. Right now I sit at a 14/16, and I love it, because this is my God-given body.'

And after finally learning to love herself, Hunter was this year awarded the accolade of Sports Illustrated's curviest model ever in their famed swimsuit edition.

'I feel like I’m still living in a dream, and I need someone to pinch me. It’s been a goal of mine since I first started modeling and even knew what Sports Illustrated was,' she told The Cut. 'It’s the pinnacle of someone’s modeling career.'
