DJ Khaled just released a snippet of a new song called "Nas Album Done" to confirm completion of “The Don’s” eleventh solo album.

This album would solidify the return of Nas since his last album, Life Is Good, was released in July 2012. His last album was highly praised as one of his greatest works and acclaimed as a modern, hip-hop version of Marvin Gaye’s classic Here, My Dear. The eloquent soul samples and Nas’ level of transparency about his family life and deteriorated marriage with ex-wife Kelis, satisfied fans, tapped into a soulful, 90s nostalgia and quieted the rumors and speculation.

During his hiatus, Nas has kicked his feet up and celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Illmatic, and ventured deeper into his Hennessey VS business collaboration. Additionally, the hip-hop veteran has toured, produced a documentary and co-founded Mass Appeal Records. In an interview with Huffington Post, Mr. Jones described the album as “the next chapter in myself as a writer,” and was excited about being back in the studio with other heavy hitters like Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and No I.D. (who executive produced Life Is Good). Thiswill be Nas’ final album under his current deal with Def Jam.

It’s probably okay to begin salivating. We don’t believe DJ Khaled would joke about a finished product from a legendary MC. Take a listen to the latest Nas snippet below.

**Update: an earlier version of the article stated that Nas' album title was Major Key. That is the title of DJ Khaled's album.
