Overnight officer-involved shooting on I-75 leaves suspect dead

Our sister station, WKYT, is reporting an officer-involved shooting at a rest stop on Interstate 75.
Kentucky State Police are still investigating but do confirm a Scott County Sheriff's deputy has been shot and the suspect has been killed.
They say the suspect was identified as 57-year-old, Edwards Reynolds.
Officials say Reynolds was a fugitive from Florida.
K.S.P. say the Scott County deputy was responding to a complaint with federal agents at a rest stop near Georgetown.
They say Reynolds shot at the deputy and gunfire was exchanged.
The deputy was rushed to UK Hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
The deputy's name has not been released.
