Hart joins The Provident Bank as assistant VP

Trevor J. Hart, Bechtelsville, has joined The Provident Bank as assistant vice president and banking center manager of its Allentown branch on Hamilton Street.

In this position, Hart will lead and manage a team of sales and service professionals and oversee daily branch operations.

Hart has more than 22 years of banking industry experience. Prior to joining The Provident, he held positions at the Harleysville National Bank, which was acquired by First Niagara Bank in 2010. Hart is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Business Institute.

Simeral Construction appoints new VP

Simeral Construction Co., Lititz, announced that William Sutton has joined the firm to develop commercial construction operations.

Sutton has wide experience in the construction industry and spent the last nine years managing construction projects across central Pennsylvania.

Sutton has been a part of past projects such as the Cargas office building, Lancaster; Governors Square townhouse development, Harrisburg; and the Harrisburg Area Community College Midtown II project, Harrisburg. Most recently, Sutton was a part of a project for six new leadership in energy and environmental design certified dormitories at Shippensburg University, totaling about $100 million.

Levengood promoted to manager

Herbein and Co., Spring Township, has announced that Kyle D. Levengood, a certified public accountant, has been promoted to manager in the accounting and auditing department.

Levengood is responsible for overseeing multiple firm audit engagements. He works primarily within the dairy, food, employee benefit plans and manufacturing industries throughout several states.

Levengood graduated from Alvernia University in 2008. He joined Herbein in 2008 and resides in Sinking Spring.

M&T Bank appoints Martin

M&T Bank has appointed Sherry L. Martin as branch manager for the Honey Brook office.

Martin leads the M&T branch team’s outreach to individual and commercial customers to provide traditional financial services and customized product solutions.

Martin comes to M&T from Susquehanna Bank and has more than 16 years of experience in financial services. Active in the community, Martin serves as a tax preparer for the United Way and sits on the steering committee of the Honey Brook Community Partnership. She resides in Ephrata.
