Iconic Hotel del Coronado reveals 2022 residences for sale

The iconic Hotel del Coronado on San Diego’s Coronado Island is offering guests a chance to score a residence of their own while still under construction.

While it’s scheduled to be completed in 2022, all of the residences have already been sold out and are pending contracts only weeks after Hotel del Coronado announced the launch, The Post has learned.

The final real estate offering, known as the Shore House, features 75 residences and is located at the southernmost point of the legendary Hotel Del Coronado, steps from the famed red turret and set between the ocean and marina.

The Hotel del Coronado, which is situated across the bay from downtown San Diego, was a hot spot since it first opened in 1888 and has since hosted a slew of presidents, royalty and celebrities.

It was also where Marilyn Monroe filmed the classic “Some Like It Hot” movie and where she stayed as a guest on several occasions.

“We couldn’t be any more thrilled for the extraordinary community of Shore House owners who have decided to take part in this incredible new chapter for Hotel del Coronado,” Mike Collins, founding partner and CEO of IMI Worldwide Properties stated in a press release. “Shore House isn’t just the Del’s final new real estate offering, it’s also among the last coveted opportunities to own along the California coast.”

Amenities include an ocean-view pool with cabanas, poolside bar, casual indoor/outdoor lounge, dedicated check-in and complimentary valet and self-parking.

Within every residence, a shiplap foyer opens to reveal beamed ceilings and hand-scraped wood floors. A light-filled living room features a limestone-clad fireplace, a full kitchen outfitted with high-end appliances and a private balcony.

The architecture and interiors of Shore House, led by Leo A Daly, pays homage to the Queen Anne Revival design of the Del’s Victorian theme.
